Dinesha Adams is the founder and driving force behind Jai6 Youth Foundation, an organization born from lived experience, resilience, and transformation. As a youth and into adulthood, Dinesha faced repeated encounters with detention centers—experiences that exposed her to the harsh realities of systems that often punish more than they heal. Instead of allowing those moments to define her future, she made the courageous decision to change the trajectory of her life.
Through accountability, healing, and purpose-driven growth, Dinesha turned her pain into power. She built Jai6 Youth Foundation to be the support she once needed—creating pathways for youth to avoid the cycles of incarceration, violence, and instability. Today, her work is rooted in prevention, mentorship, and community care, proving that with the right support, transformation is not only possible—it’s powerful.
